All Class Maths.

My class has been doing all class maths. 

Paper Planes

On Monday after lunch the students from room 14 made paper planes. We made them in our classroom we made paper planes so we can learn how paper flies.

First we came inside from lunch and sat on the mat. After that we watched a video about thrust,lift and force and also how to make a  paper plane.Once we finished watching the video Miss Davis told us “you can work with me or you can make your own”. Eventually Miss Davis gave us a piece of plain paper.When Miss Davis gave my group a piece of plain paper we Immediately ran to a table or stayed on the mat. Meanwhile when Miss Davis was giving out the last part of the paper me and my friend was talking about what we were going to do we picked to go with Miss Davis. When you make your paper plane you need to be as careful as you can. After we made our paper plane we had a competition my group came first Chaun won in my group next the was, orange group Kelly won from that group before the turquoise group went the green group went Kitione won in that group in turquoise Leigharna won in turquoise the last but not least the purple group went and Troy won from that group. After the groups had their turn we  had a  competition everyone who won in their group were in the competition Chaun,Leigharna and Kelly had a tie then, Leigharna and Kelly had a tie. In the end Kelly WON and went under the trophy. I felt a bit happy   and a bit cheerful.    









   

Tons Of Tomatoes.

Me and my group has been learning about Tomatoes we also planted Tomatoes the are going to be yummy.

The Cat And The Stars

I was reading this book called The Cat And The Stars

Tamarereti.

The dark black sky with no stars in it and the sea that is dark black as well. The dark sky was so dark that the people were frightened to go out.

The Taniwha cmes out of the dark sea and is looking for something to eat. The Taniwha is so scary that people always stay inside and they don't want to be eaten.  

Tamarereti is going to get some fish because him and his family and the people on the village were hungry. So he was looking for somewhere to fish.

Tamareati is catching some fish. He is happy that he caught some fish. He is putting the fish into the kete.

Tamarereti  went to sleep in his waka because the wind went away. When the wind came back the wind blew  the waka to a beach in the north.

Tamarereti woke up and saw it was dark. He thought that he should get back to the village because the taniwha might eat him. In the corner of his eye he saw some pepells.

Tamarereti  gathered all of  pebbles into his waka.Tamarereti had an idar.

Tamarereti throw the pebbles up in the sky to make the taniwha go away. Tamarereti also throw them up so he can see where he goos

The pepells that Tamarereti throw up in the sky are now stars. The sky is now beautiful.

Math Problems.

I am learning to read math problem. I love reading math problems it is so fun.
