Cross Country

On a sunny Friday afternoon it was cross country. We went to the hard court to wait. I got so fried because it was the hottest day in the universe.Finally it was the year 4 girls turn to run. As soon as Mr Burt smashed the clappers down my heart dropped and I dashed to the goalpost.When I past Miss King the second time I knew that I was going to finish the race. I was extremely exhausted. I was stoked that I came second. When I came second my dad was so delighted  about me.
