First day swimming in 2017

On Monday when we had swimming I felt very excited because it was the first  time swimming in Room 14.  Before we went to the pools we went to the toilet  to get changed into our togs. We went when everyone was ready.

First  we had a shower at the pools. Then  we went into the pools and the instructor told us his or hers name.Secondly the instructor called the roll.  

Next we had to stay under the water for five seconds.  After that we had to swim to the island with our crocodile hands on the board and our fast kicking feet. When we got to the island we took three deep breaths and went back under the water.

Finally  my instructor gave us a high five.

In the end we went to class and got changed into our uniform. in the very end we went outside and played for ten minutes then we went back to class. After we played we went inside to work.

My Dragon

The world’s smallest dragon is an amazing creature, it is so tiny that it sits on only two fingers of a human hand.  It is bony and hairy.  This is a very cute dragon in the world I think. Taking it home might not be a good idea because it might light on fire.      

     

Caring for this creature is a challenging task and should not be taken on without serious thought. This Dragon really needs same water because it breathes fire.  My Dragon needs some food like marshmallows.

I am going to name it Togy.

Dragons are playful creature and they love to play games with children.

Playing with a Dragon is very fun (if they don't eat you).  

I will love to play with a tiny little dragon like shark attack with my friends.

 

last Tuesday after morning tea Room 14 and the junior school went to the hall.

They went for the Duffy show so we could learn about reading.

First they sang the  Duffy song with dance moves.Then Global Girl was flying around and Duffy saw her and, said “Who are you? And Global girl said “I am global girl.Later global girl and Duffy sang a cool  song about the environment.

Next Global girl said “do you want to fly” Duffy said “Yes but how can I fly I do not have wings”  

“You can hold my hand” Duffy said “I don’t know if I can hold girls hands” but Global girl grabbed  his hand.

After that they went to south Australia and met a koala and, a fire bush that was trying to eat the koala, the koala did not like it but the fire bush did like it.

At the end Duffy and Global girl saved the world. I hope they come back.

Narrativ Writing

Once upon a time there lived a fearsome wolf. He lived in a cottage in the woods. One day the wolf went out to look for a rabbit to eat. Then the wolf forgot to close and lock his wooden door because he was in a rush, to eat. Next a terrible hunter saw the cottage so he, went into see if there is a big animal. Next a lousy bear crept past the cottage and he heard a crack so he looked in the cottage and he saw a terrible hunter. Finally the bear shouted very loudly "My friend Wolf were are you a terrible man is in your house so you need to get here quickly ". In the end in about 1 min the Wolf was back and they had a fight and the hunter had died and the bear and wolf aet the hunter and if everyone who comes into the cottage in the woods but not the bear because he was the Wolfs best friend ever and his food the end.
