The Moon

The moon was  probably made 4.5 billion years ago. When a large object hit the earth and blasted out rocks that came together to orbit around the earth. The moon is much smaller then the earth it is airless, waterless and lifeless. The gravity of the moon forces two high tides on the earth everyday. The first person to walk on the moon was the american astronaut  Neil Armstrong he steeped out of his space craft The Eagle on the 21st of July in 1969 and said these famous words "one small step for man one giant leap for man kind"
